"The Cabral Law Firm, was established 2000, by Miles A. Cabral. Since that time, the Cabral Law Firm has gone on to successfully represent thousands of clients in criminal cases--such as domestic violence, sexual assault, drug possession, burglary, theft, embezzlement, DUI, DWAI, and driving under suspension, dissolution of marriage or divorce cases, child custody and child support cases, civil litigation--both as plaintiff's counsel and as defense counsel, Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) hearings, and insurance investigation hearings. As well, the Cabral Law Firm has aided small businesses with setting up and forming new businesses, (including drafting purchase agreements, partnership agreements, supply contracts, and leases and lease transfers and lease assumptions). In addition, the Cabral Law Firm has successfully obtained liquor licenses for several restaurants.
The Cabral Law Firm was an off-shoot of the firm Cabral & Cabral, formed by Al Cabral and Miles Cabral. Cabral & Cabral was successful for many years, having represented clients in the Colorado State Appellate Courts, Federal Courts, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. The myriad of clients and legal issues included dissolution of marriage, child custody, Murder, Sexual Assault, Armed Robbery, Embezzlement, Theft, Sexual Assault of a Child, Possession of Drugs, and many traffic and misdemeanor cases, as well as counseling and defending law suits by former business partners, home owner associations, and representing clients injured in car accidents and on the job.
At the same time that the Cabral Law Firm successfully remained in business in Aurora, Al Cabral maintained the busy firm of Al Cabral and Associates in the West Denver area. Although his firm continued in the same areas of practice of the firm Cabral & Cabral, Al Cabral also represented and aided many impoverished persons who would otherwise go without any representation.
Despite the success of both firms as separate entities, Miles and Al Cabral decided to join forces in order to allow Al Cabral to begin to prepare for his eventual retirement, and yet allow for the continued vision of strong legal representation for all persons despite race, nationality, or socio-economic status. So now, the Cabral Law Firm has taken over the firm of Al Cabral and Associates and has taken up residence in the Sheridan Office Building located at 200 S. Sheridan Blvd., #220. Al Cabral still has several clients and old open cases that he is personally overseeing, but for the most part, Miles Cabral is taken over the new clients and new legal issues
